What if it is raining?

We re-schedule for the next fine or rain-free day. Our treatment needs ½-1 hour to be rainproof.

I haven’t had an animal in my home for 6-12 months; do I still need to have it done?

Yes. Fleas can go without a feed for months and can live for over 12 months.

My fleas have come back – what should I do?

Make sure 1 week before we service your home you have treated your pets (usually with a vet-bought flea treatment), as this will help your dog or cat not to be the safe house for them. Fleas don’t necessarily live on animals but feed off of them. Fleas can also go more than a month without a feed. Fleas can seem worse if they come back, usually because the eggs have hatched and newly born fleas are very aggressive in getting their first meals.

How do I know if I have bed bugs?

Of course you mean apart from having little bite marks on you We have a unique baiting system. This does not get rid of the bed bugs, but merely indicates that they are there if not completely obvious.  We leave a bait between the top of the mattress and the top sheet and return the next day to check. If it has little bed bugs stuck to it then we proceed with the treatment. The treatment is for any where that you sit. Bedbugs will live in lounges and also have been known to scale walls onto ceilings and drop onto their host.

Also if you see a weevil looking bug in your bed. This is usually a bed bug as they look like weevils in their first few stages of the life cycle and their abdomen then flattens out towards the last stages of the lifecycle.

If I’ve only seen one does that mean there is more?

Yes. Usually bugs and nasty critters come out in the safety of night, and are usually drawn to or live around warm places like stoves, fridges (near the motor), body heat (beds) and carbon dioxide. So one usually means many.

Will the pesticide hurt my plants?

No. Pesticides are specifically designed to harm insects. Herbicides will kill  plants.
